Volunteering WA invites you to add your voice to 2025 Volunteering WA State Conference line up, by submitting an abstract to present on a topic or facilitate an interactive workshop.

Submit EOI to Present

Submit your Presentation Abstract by 30 June 2025

The 2025 Volunteering WA State Conference theme, From Ideas to Impact, puts the focus on growth, action and impact. It's about moving beyond conceptualising volunteer programs and turning discussions into actionable initiatives that drive change.

Focus areas, include (but are not limited to): Bridging the gap between research and practice, practical implementation of ideas, creating actionable strategies, leading change in volunteer management, leveraging technology, innovative engagement strategies, building strong volunteer leadership, integrating volunteerism into organisational culture, collaboration with community partners, and designing for social impact.

Presentation duration will be confirmed once speakers have been selected and the program designed - please select your preference of duration alongside your pitched topic.

The Conference will be split into concurrent streams, allowing the 200+ attendees to select sessions that most align with their role, gaps in knowledge, and upcoming priorities. This is Western Australia's only volunteering-dedicated Conference, providing a forum for community services leaders, volunteer managers, researchers and policy makers.
