About the role

As the Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our corporate volunteering initiatives in Perth, coordinating team-based volunteering events, assisting with logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for both corporate volunteers and non-profit community organisations. You will play a pivotal role in helping corporate teams make a meaningful contribution to their communities, driving both satisfaction and participation in volunteering activities.

About you

  • You have relevant tertiary or TAFE qualifications (in event management, project management, community development) or relevant experience performing similar duties.
  • You have a proven track record in a similar role providing key logistical support for events, including site selection, catering arrangements and event set-up.
  • You have demonstrated ability in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines with the ability to work independently and proactively on your own initiative or as part of a small team.
  • You are competent in using Microsoft Office, MS Teams and a range of databases, webpages, social media and other IT resources.
  • You are an organised planner who consistently achieves agreed goals.
  • You are an effective communicator with demonstrated high-level, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong industry and stakeholder relationships.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent.
  • You are comfortable speaking & presenting in front of teams of up to 30 people.
  • You are closely aligned with our values of integrity, innovation and inclusivity.

Special Requirements

  • A current and valid WA driver’s licence as the role requires travel regularly within the Perth Metro area
  • Current First Aid Certificate and a National Police Certificate. Volunteering WA will reimburse costs incurred in obtaining these if required.
  • Medium level of physical fitness, with the ability to undertake work in indoor and outdoor environments, with an understanding of and adherence to heat-management and safety procedures (training will be provided).
  • Available for flexible work hours with some early starts and / or late finishes.
