Volunteers and volunteer involving organisations keep vital services running throughout Western Australia, and it is important that we recognise them for their widespread contributions.
Held in celebration of National Volunteer Week (18-24 May 2026) each year, the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards celebrate the significant impact of volunteers across all sectors in Western Australia. As the peak body for volunteering within Western Australia, Volunteering WA is proud to host the Awards. We are continually inspired by the hundreds of submissions we receive each year, which detail the powerful contributions volunteers and organisations around WA have made.
Among the 2025 Winners were life-savers, advocates, conversation warriors, and all-ability volunteers. Volunteers span across all sectors, each playing a vital role in strengthening communities across Western Australia. We invite you to nominate a volunteer, volunteer manager, or volunteer involving organisation to celebrate their exceptional contributions.
