Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to your membership with Volunteering WA, and your use of the VIKTOR and VIKTOR Lite volunteer recruitment platforms (or position listing service).

Membership is open to Western Australian volunteer involving organisations that:
- Have Public Liability and Volunteer Personal Accident insurance.
- Support the National Definition of Volunteering.
- Support the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
Membership is for 12 months, starting on the date your membership is activated.
Fees are tiered and based on your organisation’s total annual revenue. This includes all forms of income, including grants, sponsorship, donations, membership and service fees. The fee may change over the life of membership. Volunteering WA reserves the right to query/verify annual revenue (as declared) and adjust the membership tier and fee to reflect this as required.
No refunds are paid on membership fees if membership is terminated early.
Member Communications
Volunteering WA will communicate via email with the primary contact at member organisations regarding the membership benefits and member services including applications and renewals. You can update your member primary contact at any time by emailing membership@volunteeringwa.org.au .
Separately, we will also subscribe member contacts to campaign emails to let you know the latest news, funding opportunities, upcoming training and events. You can update your preferences for receiving these promotional emails at any time using the Update Preferences link in the footer of emails.
Volunteering WA Membership and use of VIKTOR and VIKTOR Lite
Volunteering WA Members access and use our VIKTOR and VIKTOR Lite platform and agree they have read and agree to the VIKTOR and VIKTOR Lite Terms of Use.
In order to advertise volunteer positions on the internet through VIKTOR or VIKTOR Lite, your organisation must have Volunteer Personal Accident insurance and Public Liability insurance and supply the insurance provider's name and policy details. If insurance coverage is provided by a funding body, or some other organisation, the name of this organisation should be provided.
Copies of the Certificates of Currency for both Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance and Public Liability Insurance policies should be provided to Volunteering WA.
Volunteering WA reserves the right to request member and position listing organisations produce evidence of required insurances at any time.
Member organisations agree to inform Volunteering WA if there are any significant changes to their insurance policies within seven (7) days.
Insurance Declaration
By paying the membership fee for full membership the organisation declares that it has current Volunteer Personal Accident and Public Liability insurance. In listing volunteering opportunities with Volunteering WA, the organisation agrees that it is an independent organisation responsible for its own actions, including maintenance of insurances, and that it is not an agent of Volunteering WA and will not hold itself out as such. The organisation further acknowledges and agrees that it is solely responsible for the operations or conduct of its volunteers or of any affiliate organisation(s) using this listing service.
We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by updating this page. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
There is a privacy policy for users of the VIKTOR and VIKTOR Lite platforms.
