How to add your youth-appropriate role to YVolunteer

If you are interested in putting your volunteer role in front of young people, follow these simple steps to add a volunteer role on YVolunteer:

Start advertising through VIKTOR

  1. Sign up and create an account on Volunteering WA’s VIKTORLite platform, if you haven’t already (available to Members).
  2. Once your organisation’s account is set up, select the “Youth Volunteer Roles” template and create your volunteer advert.
  3. Alternatively, when listing a role on VIKTOR or SeekVolunteer, select either category:
  • ‘Suitable for Young Adults – 18-24’.
  • ‘Younger Volunteers – under 18’.

Roles displayed across multiple sites

Once roles are published on VIKTOR, they automatically display across the following sites:

Yvolunteer.org.au is a key initiative of Volunteering WA and part of our commitment to empowering young people to make a difference in Western Australia.

The project was made possible with thanks to support from the Department of Communities, and extended to the Peel and South West regions with Lotterywest support.
