Full Membership is open to volunteer involving organisations that:
- have public liability and volunteer personal accident insurance
- support the National Definition of Volunteering
- support the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement
As the peak body, Volunteering WA champions the volunteering community and provides support to volunteer involving organisations throughout the state. When you become a member you access a great range of member benefits and services, however your membership means more than that. It’s about working together to harness the power of volunteering, to promote stronger, healthier more inclusive communities.

Who is membership for?
Membership is suitable for any organisation that involves volunteers. Volunteering WA supports over 800 volunteer-involving organisations across the state who believe in the power of volunteering.
Joining as a member means that you are committed to supporting your organisation’s volunteer manager and your pool of volunteers.
Our role is to advocate for you, promote you, and help you make your volunteer program the best it can be.

- Event organisers
- Peak bodies
- Hospitals, schools, libraries and museums
- Corporate businesses (who utilise our corporate volunteering program)
