Connect, Engage and Share: Focus on Informal Volunteering

This session provides an opportunity for volunteer managers to meet others working in the same or similar work environment, to exchange ideas, and learn from each other, by asking questions and sharing experiences. Networking is a great way, to build your contacts, support your professional development and grow your confidence. 

This session will include an exploratory discussion about Informal Volunteering. Key questions for discussion

• Can VIOs play a role in this, what kind of role?
• Does it impact their volunteering program, how?
• What issues/questions does it raise for VIOs?

If you would like to contribute your insights or experience of informal volunteers or have a particular question or issue you would like to put forward please email the Training team.

Participants for this discussion may join online if the are in any of the regions and face to face in perth metro. Please note this in the requirements section of your registration.
