2025 International Volunteer Day Garden Party

Each year Volunteering WA hosts the annual International Volunteer Day Garden Party in the stunning gardens of Government House. 

The Volunteer Garden Party is a beautiful event that allows volunteers to connect with each other, and different organisations.

Date: Thursday 4 December 2025
Tentative Time: 3:40pm gates open, 6:30pm event concludes
(*Subject to change closer to the event)
Venue: Government House, Lower Gardens
Arrival: Terrace Road (Garden entry gates are on Terrace Road) directly across from the CPP Terrace Road Parking. 
Guests will not be able to enter from St Georges Terrace.
Dress: Formal day wear with a touch of red – see photos from last year’s event on Facebook
Inclusions: Enjoy beautiful music and speeches that will inspire you with friends, colleagues and fellow volunteers. Included in your ticket are canapes, beverages and entertainment.
Tickets: Will go on sale in September/October 2025, with discounted tickets available for Volunteering WA Members.

With over 1.5 million volunteers in Western Australia, International Volunteer Day is a day for mass celebration. Volunteer involving organisations celebrate the contributions of thousands of volunteers who support their programs and services to the community.
