Building Arrival and Access

  • Building: 3 De Vlamingh Avenue, East Perth WA 6004 (Google Maps)
  • The office entrance is situated on the corner of De Vlamingh Avenue and Adelaide Terrace.
  • To open the building doors, please press the button located to the right of the doors.
  • Once inside the building, use the elevator to reach Volunteering WA on Level 2.

Parking and Transport Options

Parking

There are several parking facilities within a short walk of the office.

  • ACROD Parking: ACROD parking bays are available on De Vlamingh Avenue close to the building entrance.
  • Short-term Street Parking: Limited ticketed on-street parking (3-hours or 6-hours) is available on De Vlamingh Avenue; Moreau Parade and nearby Hay Street.
  • Wilson Parking – Queens Riverside Car Park: This Parking facility sits behind the Fraser Suites and Queens Riverside apartments, accessible via De Vlamingh Avenue off Adelaide Terrace or Hay Street, and through Erskine Link. Only a 2-minute walk. It provides affordable short-term and casual hourly parking at $2 per hour with the first 30 minutes free. Maximum stay is typically up to six hours. Open from 8am – 8pm.
  • CPP Queens Gardens: Larger public parking area approximately a 7-minute walk away. Provides flexible hourly and daily rates, typically around $5.50 per hour and $15 per day. A good all day parking option. Open 24 hours. ACROD bays are available.
  • CPP Hay Street East: CPP Hay Street East is located on the eastern end of Hay Street near the Adelaide Terrace side of East Perth and generally an 8–10-minute walk. Good for all day parking and training and events. Hourly rates are $5.50 per hour and $15 per day. Open 24 hours. Lift access and ACROD bays are available.
  • CPP Plain Street: One of the closest parking options for 3 De Vlamingh Avenue. It is a City of Perth multi-storey car park with both short-stay and all-day parking and approximately a 4–5-minute walk to De Vlamingh Avenue. Hourly rates are $5.50 per hour and $15 per day. Open 24 hours. Lift access and ACROD bays are available.

Public Transport

Train: The nearest train station is Claisebrook Station, which is approximately a 10–15-minute walk (1.2km) from the office.

Bus: The office is accessible via Perth’s free central bus network.

  • Red CAT Bus: This is the most convenient option. Alight at Hay Street Queens Gardens stop (Stop ID: 143) which is on Hay Street right next to De Vlamingh Avenue.
  • Standard Bus Routes: Numerous buses travelling along Adelaide Terrace stop nearby. Look for routes such as the 910, 930, or 935 and alight at the Adelaide Tce Before Plain St or Adelaide Tce After Plain St stops.
